12 of the Best Stories About KISS You Will Ever Read. Good and Bad.

I have seen KISS twice on their “Farewell Tour”. The first time was 3/17/2000 in Las Vegas. The second was almost 19 years to the day on 3/16/2019 in Columbus, Ohio. That night I thought I had said my final goodbye. I had made my peace. Turns out I will be feeling the hot steel of Paul’s Love Gun two more times. A month ago I crumbled in the face of their hype war machine and bought tickets Indianapolis Thanksgiving weekend (a week before their final shows in NYC) And then… a very generous friend gifted me (and Owen) two free tickets to their show at the Sonic Temple festival this Saturday. I was going to skip this show and hold onto a shred of concert going integrity but alas, the God of Thunder had other plans. I’m glad he did. In honor of what must surely be the final KISS show in Ohio, here is a rerun of one of the 43,000 stories Pencilstorm has published on KISS through the years. Enjoy. - Colin Gawel

The rock band KISS has always inspired strong opinions both pro and con since they unleashed their kabuki-infused rock n roll on the unsuspecting public four decades ago. On April 10th 2014, KISS was finally inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. To mark the occasion, Pencilstorm went ten straight days with uninterrupted KISS "Koverage."  The following are the highlights and are a must read for any self respecting member of the KISS Army. And not to fear, Kiss haters, there is plenty for you to love as well. All the stories are packed with links and clips for your pleasure. If this is your first time, I'm so jealous of the good time you are about to have.  Enjoy! - Colin G.
