Local Waste Podcast is a DEEP Dive Into the C-BUS Indie Music Scene

I know we are all overloaded with Podcast suggestions these days, but if you spent time attending rock n roll shows during the glory years of the High Street scene, you must give the Local Waste podcast a listen. Each episode features an interview with two guests who were part of the fabric that has made Columbus, Ohio such an interesting place for live music. Hosts Pat & Linda Dull combine a fan’s enthusiasm with the research of a history professor, making the Local Waste podcast a cut above the rest. Do not miss visiting Local Waste on Facebook/Instagram where they publish all kinds of groovy flyers and pictures to accompany each episode. So much good stuff to dig through.

Local Waste is available wherever you listen to Podcasts and right here on Spotify.

Season One featured guests such as: Marcy Mays, Ron House, Curt Schieber, Dan Dougan, Dan Spurgeon, Bela K, Andy Harrison, Mark Chatfield and many, many more.

Season Two premieres on Saturday October 15th with a two-part episode featuring Matt Reber (New Bomb Turks) and some guy named Colin Gawel (The Wire, Watershed).

To celebrate the Season Two launch, the Rumba Cafe is hosting a Happy Hour show Thursday, October 13th with live music provided by guests who have appeared on the show. Even that guy Colin Gawel is playing some songs with Marcy Mays at 8pm and then some Willie Phoenix songs around 10.
